KX Singapore launched a solar energy initiative to address rising energy costs and environmental concerns. After a thorough vendor evaluation, ENGIE Southeast Asia was selected in February 2025. The 994 kWp system was installed in just 13 weeks with minimal disruption and strict safety oversight and successfully commissioned on 18 August 2025.
The system is expected to generate 1.3 million kWh of clean energy annually offsetting nearly 30% of the facility’s electricity use, reducing 541 tons of CO₂ emissions, and saving approximately USD 200,000 per year. With full ROI projected in 5.5 years and zero upfront cost to KX, the project is fully funded and maintained by ENGIE. Real-time monitoring ensures optimal performance.
