Marmon Asia Visits Derenyuan School: Embodying Core Values, Nurturing Hope

On December 12, representatives from Marmon Asia visited Fenyi Derenyuan School in Xinyu, Jiangxi Province, working with the Jiangxi Provincial Youth Development Foundation (Hope Project) to support children from vulnerable backgrounds.

Derenyuan School is led by Principal Huang Meisheng, who has devoted more than 17 years to caring for at-risk children. Since 2008, the school has supported 356 children through a model that integrates daily care with education, with 76 students continuing on to university. Principal Huang’s long-standing commitment played a key role in Marmon’s decision to engage with the school.

Prior to the visit, Marmon collaborated with the Foundation and conducted on-site assessments to ensure that its support addressed the school’s most immediate and practical needs. During the visit, representatives from Marmon business units—including MFT, EXSIF, and EcoWater—participated in the school’s daily routines, spending time with students, sharing meals, and visiting the homes of two children. These interactions provided the team with a clearer understanding of the students’ learning and living environments.

To support the school’s ongoing operations, Marmon made a donation through the Foundation. In addition, Marmon subsidiary EcoWater provided two commercial water purifiers to help improve access to safe drinking water for students and staff.

The visit took place alongside activities by other organizations. Marmon did not request filming or media coverage, keeping the focus on the children and the purpose of the visit rather than publicity.

Michael Lau and GS Hao, representatives of Marmon Asia Pacific, shared their appreciation for Principal Huang’s dedication and the resilience of the students. “Every child deserves care, opportunity, and the chance to thrive,” they said. “Supporting their development helps build stronger, more inclusive communities.”

Marmon’s engagement with Derenyuan School reflects a long-term approach to community involvement that emphasizes direct engagement, thoughtful partnerships, and support aligned with local needs.
